there is nothing tastes as good as skinny feels

12 June 2010 2 Comments

Do you remember the favorite quote said by no other but Kate Moss in november last year?

Well, if you do and if you want to be skinny forever here are some tips to achieve the skinny bitch look and stay there :)

* drink a glass of water as soon as you get up (before the breakfast or the morning coffee);

* eat big organic and raw breakfast – fruits, vegetables, fresh juices, coffee with honey. Or if raw is too much for you, at least keep it organic with eggs, butter, wholewheat bread;

* drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day;

* walk at least 1 hour per day;

* eat 4-5 times a day, but keep the between meals fresh – vegetable and fruit snacks;

* stay away from white sugar, white flour, white rice, white everything;

* no diet soda, no diet food! Most of the diet foods and drinks are made with sweeteners and high fructose corn syrup which are really, really bad for you;

* absolutely no fast food! They are toxic for your body and stick directly to your butt and belly;

* limit the diary products if you can’t stop them. Diary products and particularly milk is great for babies, but not for grown ups… have you ever seen a grown up animal to drink milk?

* at lunch and diner eat a huge salad with organic olive oil with your meal;

* take 1 table spoon of apple sider vinegar before every meal;

* fast – ones per year for 3-5 days, ones per week for a day or as much as you want. My favorite fast is juicing for a day every week;

* if you want to be fit, not only skinny – do some exercises and cardio. Cardio burns fats and exercises add muscles – muscles also burn fats;

* and last, but not least – cheat when you want and feel good about it. There is no need to feel guilty for that piece of cake, better eat it and enjoy it :)

* and the most important rule – don’t eat when you are not hungry! No way!

    When u first posted the article about healthy eating, I promised to myself to participate in the topic, which I never did. Now I believe it’s time, if not, I will delay it again.
    My eating habits are down to these simple rules I follow: one 500ml glass of luke-warm glass of water with freshly squeezed lemon when I wake up, breakfast after half an hour, consisted of berry fruits, 4 spoon of yogurt, cereals and musli and some cinammon on top. Late breakfast-around 11.30, some fresh fruits. Lunch-pasta or rice, with lots of veggies or only veggies. Late snack-cereal bar. Dinner-salad or veggie soup with some potatoes. A few more small snacks I might have during da day, mainly nuts and seeds. Spoiling myself with some ice cream, I can barely resist it. Lots of warm water during da day, extremely good for digestion and hydrating da body. Then activities-5 times a week running, 3 times short distance-4-5 miles, 2 times-long 7-8 miles. Running only in barefoot shoes, sorry dont believe in 20 years cushioned shoes as I believe in 2 million years history of nature. Plenty of walking too-at least 10 hours a week. Avoiding any public transport when possible and considering buying a bike. Also I need to join some yoga, aerobic or taebo classes as I missed them a lot.

    Waw! That’s a lot of activities, congrats on that!
    I’m still on 3 days running and 2 pilates hours per week…

    As for the food – I stopped eating everything unhealthy, unfortunately rice and potatoes are in the “bad for my belly” category too. BUT there are some amazing raw recipes for ice cream!!! Healthy and easy to make, will share some this week.
    As you might notice deserts are my break up point, so I stick to raw homemade ones :)
