May be there is no surprise in seeing lots of Halston Heritage dresses in Sex and City 2, after all Sarah Jessica Parker is their new president and chief creative officer whatever that means… But for a movie with over a million spend on clothing to appear in the same dress twice, come on!

Our summer vacation is almost planned, so it’s time to think of the accessories needed for a perfect getaway :) And my choice is: Asos beach maxi dress (bought last year, but still in style), Magistral swimwear (absolute favorite brand for swimwear!) – this year I picked up the Melody set and the wedges choice for now is Emporio Armani’s plastic ones. Those huge flowers are definitely something to get obsessed with, and the combinations fit for every occasion and style – dresses, tank tops, skirts… just name it :) My personal interpretation is a maxi dress in black with huge flowers in red and yellow (something like the one above). Which one is yours?

The dresses are the simplest thing to sew, so it’s no surprise that if someone (me actually) wants to start sewing, she should start with a dress :) Well, I made one, then another one, and here is my 3rd one, which I adore! The print is amazingly beautiful in person and the dress shapes my body making it look slimmer (I think the maxi length and the A-line helps). So, here it is, my latest creation for the spring :)

I saw for the first time this dress in an Elle issue and I was instantly obsessed with it. And this obsession lasted almost an year… This was also the beginning of me finding the maxi dresses, which nowadays are major part of my wardrobe.
