Brownies are one of the most popular deserts in the US, so I decided to try them out. And having in mind that I don’t eat white flour and sugar I had to come up with an alternative… a raw one :)
Ingredients:
1 cup raw nuts (best of all is macadamia nuts, but everything else works too – walnuts, cashew, etc)
1 cup dates
2-3 table spoons raw cacao powder
1 table spoon coconut oil
2 table spoons honey (if you like dark chocolate taste, leave the honey)

This is my all time favorite raw chocolate cake recipe and unfortunately it’s not mine to take credits for it :) The recipe is from the Green Chefs in Gliving.com, it’s all raw and extremely delicious.
For the crust:
1/2 Cup Brazil Nuts
1/2 Cup Shredded Coconut
Pinch Salt
1 Heaping Tablespoon Cocoa Powder

One of my all time favorite recipes: the guacamole made with local vegetables and herbs (except for the avocado of course).
Ingredients: 1 avocado* 1 tomato fresh onion the juice of 1/2 lemon or lime fresh parsley and dill sea salt

When you first start paying attention to what you eat because of all the un-healthy stuff they put in the food, comes the biggest problem – the things you have to give up!
